US Powder Keg about to Erupt?

Reportedly 90% of Americans are upset with the fuel prices they are paying. Many are blaming the Government and their own Congressmen for not taking a stand or asking questions.
The groups is about to launch a mass media project questioning the high fuel prices, and why the US government has not stepped in.
Drive off's or none paying customers increased dramatially the last few weeks. One company reported 7 drive off's in one day.
Resulting in at least 3 arrest. Which in most states carries a penalty of loss of license and prison time.
Most who drove off reported the reason why, as they could not work and afford the price of fuel, to travel to and from work.
As a result many Congressmen who are in re-election years are now scrambling to make sure, they will have answers to voters questions.
Since it is a given the US working class makes under 25,000 dollars per year. The backbone and working class of the US economy. Only 3-8 knew that most American earned less than 25,000 dollars per year, for a family of 4 minimum.

95% of the US population sees Iraq as a missed opportunity for President Bush. With the estimation, that the US will have troops there another 4 years or longer.
Many have opposed the Bush administration including many long term Republican leaders in the House down to Mayor's. Many question now if Bush ever had a real withdrawl plan.

In a question on a highly listened to news show. 4 out of 5 Americans said the war with Iraq, was our new Vietnam or Korea. No plan to withdrawl and no way out.

And the same margin said the fuel prices was a result of the US government not looking out for the US population.

When asked about the future of the US, 4 out of 5 said they looked for a huge uprising of either the people or huge and prolonged change in the political system within the US.

Some even feared a visit to history and our past. A possible civil war within the US, as a result of the last 8 -16 years of hardship placed on the working class of the US population.

Leadership wise democrat or republican, neither party seem to care about those who make less than 75,000 dollars per year. Which makes us 1/2 or more of the blue collar workers in the US.

I believe alot more drive offs will probably happen. The prison part would suck but losing your license haha, what good are they going to do you if gas keeps going up. You won't be able to afford to drive anyways. People spend a big chunk of their check just to get to pay for gas to get to work, it's really sad.

yea it is pretty rediculous...it takes like almost 35 dollars just to fill my tank
do yal think it will go down any time soon like it did in the past?

Gas always goes down after labor day but I am sure it will not go down nearly as much as it has went up this summer

Every time I buy gas now I get really mad. It's unreal, when it hits 3 dollars a gallon, I'm going to write a letter to my congressman. This is not needed, you go over to Iraq for no reason at all, yet you let these Arab Countries force these outrageous prices on you? Why? I mean come on Bush, if your going to Iraq at least get the oil, all I've seen out of this war is higher gas prices, death, and a bunch of pissed off muslims who now seem to have a greater urge to attack.

Im seriously considering a hybrid for my next car. Gonna let them do a little more research to work the bugs out first, but it seems worthwhile in the long run.
